Profileplasty
Profileplasty aims to correct imperfections in the side view of the face. The structure of the nose directly affects the beauty of the profile; a long, drooping or humped nose does not look good in profile, and rhinoplasty improves the profile as well. In some cases, however, rhinoplasty alone may not be enough, and changes to other areas of the face can be planned together with the nose.
Planning Profile Surgery
Forehead–Nose Angle: The proportion of the nose to the forehead. The forehead may be wide or narrow relative to the nose. Another procedure in the forehead area concerns the hairline. If the hair covers more of the forehead than it should, the forehead looks small; the hair there can be removed by epilation to enlarge the forehead. The opposite can also happen: if the hair has fallen out or never grew, the forehead looks wider than it should, and this can be narrowed with a hair transplant.
Nose–Lip Angle: The proportion of the nose to the lips, that is, the distance between the nasal tip and the upper lip.
Nose–Chin Angle: The proportion of the nose to the chin. The chin may be structurally forward or set back.
Chin–Submental Angle: The proportion of the chin tip to the area under the chin. Fat accumulation under the chin leads to a double chin.
Chin–Neck Angle: The proportion of the chin to the neck. This proportion can be negatively affected by sagging of the neck.
What Does Profileplasty Involve?

Can profile aesthetics be done without surgery?
Profile corrections can also be made with Botox and fillers. Fillers can be used for hollows in the forehead, to define the cheekbones and cheeks, to add lip volume and to bring a receding chin forward. Low brows can be lifted slightly with Botox.
At what age can profileplasty be done?
Profile surgery can be performed after the age of 18.
How long does profile surgery take?
Because it can involve several areas and is often planned as a combination, the duration depends on the procedures performed.
How much does profile surgery cost?
The price depends on the combination of procedures planned and is determined after the consultation.
