Buttock Surgery
Buttock surgery covers many procedures, including buttock implants, fat transfer to the buttocks and liposuction. It can be performed for functional reasons, such as after injuries, or for aesthetic reasons, such as sagging buttocks. Any aesthetic concern can be a reason for cosmetic buttock surgery, while gait problems and sagging or deformity after weight loss are among the reasons for functional surgery.
A flat appearance of the buttocks can bother patients, especially when clothes do not fit well, and they seek buttock surgery for this reason.

How Is Buttock Surgery Performed?
Fat Grafting: Fat is taken with fine cannulas from the waist, below the buttocks and the hips. The patient's own fat is specially processed and then injected into the upper buttocks to add fullness. This technique can be used for underdeveloped muscles or areas of hollowing.
Buttock Implant: When there is not enough fullness, a silicone implant is placed so the buttocks look more projected and lifted. The implant is inserted through a short incision.
Buttock Lift: After weight loss, the skin can deflate and sag. The buttock area is lifted with a suspension technique; this is done for patients whose skin quality is not good.
