How Do You Recognise Good Rhinoplasty?
One of the last and most important stages of rhinoplasty is recovery. Most people can return to daily life 7 to 10 days after nose surgery. If this period is not managed carefully, it can affect the whole process and become an obstacle on the way to the result. Avoiding blows to the nose, taking medications regularly as advised, attending check-ups and being patient are all important. Some oedema and swelling may occur after the operation.

He has more than 35 scientific publications, 2 books on facial plastic surgery and microsurgery, and 2 international and 3 national scientific awards. He has appeared in the media many times for complex operations, including face reconstruction from the patient's own tissue, arm and leg replantation, and pioneering innovations in rhinoplasty. He also holds many patented surgical instruments used in nose surgery.
Dr. TAŞ has been invited to more than 100 scientific congresses and has performed live surgeries. He also holds the Closed Atraumatic Rhinoplasty Course to teach his techniques.

A treatment developed by a Turkish doctor enters the medical literature.
Dr. Süleyman Taş's method, applied two years ago, recently entered the medical literature with its publication in APS (Archives of Plastic Surgery). Describing the method, Dr. Süleyman Taş said, "For a patient whose face was burned, a new face was made from her own tissue for the first time by mimicking physiological pregnancy . With this new method using the patient's own tissue, face transplants may become a thing of the past." Fatma Albayrak, who now has a new face, said: 'When I look in the mirror, I look better now. I've made peace with mirrors. I used to be unable to go out at all; now I can.'

A Turkish surgeon operated and more than 350 foreign doctors watched!
More than 350 surgeons from around the world watched Prof. Dr. Süleyman Taş perform rhinoplasty with new techniques in a live broadcast.
Prof. Dr. Taş said, "We have become one of the leading countries in this field. This is a proud development for Turkey." The 'Closed Atraumatic Rhinoplasty' course was held at Acıbadem Maslak Hospital. More than 350 surgeons from 27 countries attended the 2-day course, and doctors connected over the internet also took part. New techniques in rhinoplasty were presented, along with information on the instruments developed.

Face transplants may become a thing of the past with Prof. Dr. Süleyman TAŞ
Fatma, who did not accept doctors' recommendation of a face transplant, came to plastic and aesthetic surgeon Dr. Süleyman Taş two years ago. Dr. Taş applied a new treatment he had developed for patients who do not want a face transplant, giving Fatma Albayrak a new face using tissue he developed on her abdomen. The 'microdissected prefabricated flap' method (creating transferable tissue with advanced microsurgery), applied for the first time by Dr. Taş, was published in APS (Archives of Plastic Surgery).
